Am I alone, or is keto Starbucks necessary for road trips, hectic days, and shopping excursions?
They’re consistent, delicious, warm (or cold), soothing, foamy, caffeinating, and significantly more exciting than what you can make at home.
If you’re reading this thinking all you can drink from this keto restaurants menu is black coffee or a shot of espresso, then think again my friends. There’s so much more to our favorite keto fast food coffee joint than sugar-filled frappuccinos, and this list is here to prove it!
They even have a few keto foods to enjoy for keto breakfast and lunch. Let me show you!

What Are The Carbs In Starbucks
With a little creativity, you can make almost any keto Starbucks drink you’re craving! But before we get started, here’s what you should know about the ingredients they have to choose from:
- Espresso: has 2g carbs/shot. Espresso is used to make lattes, cappuccinos, etc. 1 shot of espresso is used to make a TALL espresso drink, and 2 shots are used to make a GRANDE and VENTI.
- Milk: heavy cream is your lowest carb choice if you’d like to add a ‘splash’. Followed by almond milk.
- Sugar-free Sweeteners: 1 pump = no calories, carbs, or sugar (this is based on the jars you can purchase).
- More Sweeteners: Starbucks carries the usual sweeteners (Splenda, Sweet & Low, etc.) if these work with your eating plan. I like to bring my own erythritol.
Starbuck lists their nutritional information on their website, however, if you’re looking to customize your drink (a pump of sugar-free vanilla, almond milk, skip the sweetener…) their site doesn’t make it easy to calculate the macros, so I’ve done my best to calculate them below.

I love this guide ? 🙂 Because Starbucks/Coffee IS LIFE. I also have to share what I discovered (to my horror) the other day!!! Starbucks ESPRESSO has CARBS IN IT! All this time — I’ve been calculating net carbs of my americanos at 0 (REEEE WRONG ?)) 1 Shot of Espresso from Starbucks actually has 1 G Net Carb per shot! So a Grande = 2 net carbs , just in the espresso! Drip coffee doesn’t have the carbs though – something about the amount of carbs varying based on the different coffee extraction methods (high pressured espresso machine extract more of the Carb compounds that go into the espresso than the slow drip)…. SInce I literally just discovered this yesterday – I feel the need to spread the word! If you look up Starbucks Nutrition Info on their website – it confirms 2 carbs for just an espresso on ice! Bloody hidden carbs are everywhere 🙁
