How To Blanch Almonds

- Almonds with skin, raw and unsalted
- Boiling Water
In a small saucepan, boil water.
Add almonds to boiling water and allow them to soak for 1 minute (any longer and the almonds will become too soft to peel).
Drain the almonds in a strainer and run cold water over them.
The skin should now be soft and easy to remove by simply pinching the almonds!
